WSGM & Oh No Ono Covers AnCo’s My Girls
It has become quite the ‘blog-hype-based marketing strategy’ to do an Animal Collective cover. Someone should do a AnCo Cover-blog, I’m sure they could easily post a new cover every day. Most recently forgotten Norwegian indie crooner Sondre Lerche refreshed his cool by covering Bluish.
Here is, in my opinion, a more happy result from two of Denmark’s finest acts, Oh No Ono and When Saints Go Machine. Danish music institution Soundvenue challenged the nine gentle to give their collective take on ‘The Song of The Year’. The final result is amazing, and looks like nine little kids making great music on plastic instruments in kindergarten. It really brings out what these two great bands are all about. Also, make sure to check out all the other great recordings facilitated by Soundvenue throughout the past year (the site is in Danish).
