Super Bowl Ads and Why Advertising is Evil…

4 Super Bowl Ads and Why Advertising is Evil...

They tell you to swiftly move on to your next shopping experience, and to never stop consuming. They wrap the message up in the latest “indie” sound from Hipstown and beautiful young humans in fashionable clothes. They try to convince you that this new product will finally be the one that gives you immortality. And deep inside you know they are lying to you, but Grizzly Bear and Stevie Wonder are two cultural memes you feel represent who you are as a person.

Perhaps you french-kissed someone while ‘Two Weeks’ was playing in the background and later you made love to the sound of ‘I Just Called To Say I Love You’. Now the only missing piece that will make your life complete is two tons of rolling, outdated and polluting metal from Germany. I say, buy the thing, punch your fellow bro, and live the dream. I guess it’s only basic human nature to aspire to something greater.

Enjoy Grizzly Bear like you never wanted to hear them before…

Let’s pass the mic to the late, great, Bill Hicks.

Anyways, there’s plenty more Super Bowl commercials for you…
